American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) is an affiliate of Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools, USA (MOEMS) and there are similar affiliates in Columbia, Iceland, Australia (APSMO), Philippines, China and India. MOEMS is one of the oldest and most established primary and secondary school math competition in the world. It is open to Primary 2 to Secondary 3 (Grade 2 to 9) students

All participating students will get AMO 2017 Practice Booklet. Booklets will be delivered in August 2018.
Contest Date: October 6, 2018 (private candidates from Singapore)
Contest Venue: St Joseph’s Institution Junior – Address: 3 Essex Rd, Singapore 309331 (Near Novena MRT)
Contest Time:
09:00 AM TO 10:30 AM – Primary 2, 4, 6 (Grade 2, 4, 6)
11:00 AM TO 12:30 PM – Primary 3, 5 & Secondary 1, 2, 3 (Grade 3, 5, 7, 8, 9)
PARTICIPATION & REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read registration instructions below:
- This form is only for students who are studying in any of the MOE schools or international schools in Singapore, provided that their school is not participating in AMO 2018..
- There will be strictly no refunds for overseas registrations. A partial refund might be done if your school is taking part in AMO 2018.
- Registration fees are $40 for AMO 2018.
- No amendments are allowed after you submit the online form. Registration fees will be forfeited for participants who could not or do not turn up for the competition. Registration fees are not transferable and not refundable.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that the submitted names are spelt correctly as these will be printed on the certificates. A charge of $10 per certificate will be levied for reprints.
- Registration fees must be paid by credit/debit card.
- An email will be sent to you once the registration is successfully completed.
- The organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations of the competition.
