Australian Mathematics Competition 2017 Registration (Closed)
The AMC has been held annually since 1978 and is one of the internationally recognized math contests. The competition aims to be accessible to all students, not just the mathematically gifted. The AMC consists of five separate papers, each with 30 questions in the following divisions:
- Middle Primary (Primary 3 and 4)
- Upper Primary (Primary 5 and 6)
- Junior (Secondary 1 and 2)
- Intermediate (Secondary 3 and 4)
- Senior (Junior College 1 and 2)
For each division, about 50% of participants will receive a Certificate of High Distinction, Distinction or Credit. All other entrants in the competition will receive a Certificate of Participation or a Proficiency Certificate. All students are also provided with a detailed report showing how they performed for each problem with wider statistical rankings.
Number places are limited and placement is on first come first served basis.

Contest time:
9.00 am – 10.00am: Primary 3 & 4 (Grade 3 & 4)
10.30am – 11.45am: Primary 5 & 6, Secondary 1 to 3 (Grade 5 to 9)
Before continuing to registration, please make sure that your child/student is not registered under his/her school. No refunds will be made.
